This project is inspired by the visual language of Gucci runway shows, where color, material, and atmosphere create a heightened sensory experience. I translate this into a photographic exploration of the flame test, focusing on how different elements produce distinct colors when burned. Rather than simple documentation, the work treats combustion as a moment of transformation, where matter becomes image and color becomes expression.
Through controlled burning, materials reveal their inherent chromatic qualities, suggesting that matter is active and expressive. The images exist between scientific observation and visual construction, emphasizing light, texture, and atmosphere. By placing this process within a fashion-oriented context, the project redefines burning as a poetic act, exploring how color, material, and transformation shape perception.
